Paloma Negra, from Paloma Negra Theatre, is a multi-disciplined, multifaceted independent artist with a wealth of experience in contemporary dance, exploration of suspension, trapeze, performance art, martial arts, Flamenco and fetish performance. Paloma has been teaching and performing professionally for over 25 years. Since finishing her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance, she has performed in venues, such as the Sydney Opera House, the Spiegeltent, Sydney’s Conservatorium of Music and has danced in a number of companies.
In 2008 Paloma started performing in the burlesque scene. She has worked as a facilitator, polisher and choreographer across the circus, pole and burlesque industries alongside stars such as Susie Q, Zarah Stardust, Catherine Wait and Australian Burlesque Queen Imogen Kelly.
Paloma predominantly teaches contemporary dance, flamenco, chair and fetish performance. However her main focus is teaching students about stage presence and line.
